I Aim To Tease



This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on Aug. 27. 2010.
And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI

Supplies needed
Tube(s) of choice, I used the Artwork by ©Ismael Rac, you must purchase a license found here.
Tag template#29 by Saphire and can be found here. No longer available
PTU Scrapkit by Shani of Wicked Princess called "Second Spring" and can be found here.
Font of choice (I used Franklin Gothic Demi
Mask of Choice
Plug In: Xero

Please remember to stop and save often.
Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed, merge layers down as needed to make things a little eaiser.

Let's Rock this Tutorial!!

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original.

Open paper 14, 18, and 19 mimize for later use.

Go to your background layer Select-All, add new raster layer, paste paper 19 into selection, Select-none, Add mask of choice. Merge group. Delete original background layer.

Go to Pink and Black layer, with your change target tool, change the target color to e36e3a, or color from your kit or tube.


Go to pink rectangle frame, Select-All, add new raster layer, paste paper 18 into selection, go back to pink rectangle frame, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go back to paper 18 layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Delete original layer.

Go to pink rectangle layer, Select-All, add new raster layer, paste paper 14 into selection, go back to pink rectangle , Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go back to paper 14 layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Delete original layer.

Go to top small black circle, Select-All, add new raster layer, paste paper 18 into selection, go back to top small circle, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go back to paper 18 layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Delete original layer. Do this, using paper 18 in all, with the bottom small black circle, Large Black Circle, Black Center circle and the bottom heart on the hearts layer (with your eraser took erase the top heart.).

Go to the Pink Glitter Circle, with your change target tool, change the target color to e36e3a, or color from your kit or tube. Also do this to the pixel words layer.

Go to pink half circle, Select-All, add new raster layer, paste paper 19 into selection, go back to top small circle, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go back to paper 19 layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Delete original layer.

Change the colors (I changed them to black) on the top dotted circle and bottom dotted circles.

Go to word art by Saphire layer, with your magic wand set to the following settings, click only inside the pink letters,



with your change target tool, change the target color to e36e3a, or color from your kit or tube.

Go to the Such a Tease layer and change the color to color of choice, I used black.

Open yellow ribbon element, paste as new layer, below the Such a Tease layer, resize to liking, go to the first brown circle layer, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go to the ribbon layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Delete original layer, black bar.

Add tube of choice, duplicate 3 times, arrange one in the top cirlce layer, bottom circle layer and bottom heart to your liking. Once this is done, go to each layer, select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go to the corresponding tube layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard.

For the tubes in the cirlcle layers, go to Effects-Photo Effects-Sepia toning, with the amount to age set to 60.

For the tube in the heart set the layer properties to Luminance (Legacy), go to Effects-Xero-Porcelain using the following settings



Go to Effects-Photo Effects-Sepia toning, with the amount to age set to 60. Go to Effects-Xero-Radiance using the following settings:




Go to your main tube image, Go to Effects-Xero-Porcelain using the same settings as before.

Add any elements of choice.

For the name I used Franklin Gothic Demi size 72 in black, Convert to raster layer, with your magic wand set with the above settings except making sure Contiguous is checked, click only inside every other letter. Add new raster layer, flood fill each with the color e36e3a. Go to adjust-add/remove noise, with the following settings


on the black layer, with your eraser tool, carefully erase the black letters that you just did orange.
Merge the two layers together, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Modify-Expand by 3. Add new raster layer below the name, flood fill with white. Add a very small drop shadow the the top name and a regular drop shadow to the white background part of the name.

Add Copyright info, license and save!
