Sending My Love



This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on Jan. 12, 2010
And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI

Supplies needed
Tube(s) of choice, I used the Gorjuss Artwork by ©Suzanne Woolcott, you must purchase a license found here.
PTU Scrapkit by Tamsin McAtee Studios called "Oh Cherry Baby" No longer available.
(or you may use the cute ones supplied in the kit from Luscious Scraps , example of the tag w/that one below Tutorial.)
Tag template by Annu over at Creative Misfits and can be found here. It is the second to last set of templates.
Font of choice (I used Affair)
Word art by Beth of Blissfully Beth and can be found here.
Please remember to stop and save often.
Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed, merge layers down as needed to make things a little eaiser.

Let's Rock this Tutorial!!

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original.

Open papers 4, 9,10, 11 and 13. Minimize for later use.

Go to the Layer 1, and with your magic wand click in the middle of the circle, add new raster layer, paste paper13 into selection. Delete original layer.

Go to the Layer 2, and with your magic wand click in the middle of the circle, add new raster layer, paste paper4 into selection. Delete original layer.

Open circles2 element from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer, resize and arrange over the circle layer like a frame. Delete Layer 3.

Go to the Rectangle1 layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper9 into selection. Delete original layer

Go to the Rectangle frame, with your magic wand click in the middle of the rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper11 into selection. Delete original layer

Go to the Rectangle2 layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper9 into selection. Delete original layer. Do the same for Rectangle3 layer.
Delete layers Frame2 and Frame3.

Go to the Heart layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper9 into selection. Copy and paste tube of choice and arrange insinde of heart. Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert and hit the delete button on your keyboard. Delete original heart layer. Go to Effects-Time Machine-and set the year to 1939. make visiablity at around 45.

Open frame1, copy, resize and paste as new layer and arrange above the hearts. Delete original heart frame.


Go to the Small Rectangle1 layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the small rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper11 into selection. Delete original layer. Do this with the rest of the Small Rectangle layers.

Go to the Small frame1 layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the small rectangle, add new raster layer, paste paper11 into selection. Delete original layer. Do this with the rest of the Small frame layers.

Open element heart1, paste as new layer, resize and arrange a little to the right of the Heart.

Open Bow4 element, paste as new layer, resize and arrange above the top right small rectangle.

Open Rose2, paste as new layer, resize and arrange to the bottom of the lower rectangle.

Open Ballon element, paste as new layer, resize and arrange above the top left small rectangle.

Add word art of choice, resize and arrange on top of the circle. Add Gradeint Glow of choice.

Add name , Copyright info, license and save!
