Coffee Time With Friends

This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on Jan 2, 2010.
And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI
Do not copy this tutorial and post it through any group or claim it as your own. Please share a text link only. If you use this tutorial please send me a copy of the tag you made with it to my e-mail to the left. I'd LOVE to see the creations and post into my slide show! Thank You!
Any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental.
Supplies needed
Tube(s) of choice, I used the Artwork of Pinuptoons, you must purchase a license found here.
Tag template#33 by Missy of Divine Intentionz and can be found here.
PTU Scrapkit by Tamsin McAtee called "What's your flavor" No longer available.
Font of choice (I used Satisfaction)
Plugins: Xero; Eye Candy 4000(opitional)
Please remember to stop and save often.
Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed, merge layers down as needed to make things a little eaiser.

Let's Rock this Tutorial!!

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original. Resize Canvas 800 x 800, you may crop and/or resize later.

Open paper 7, copy and go to large Circle layer and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper7 into selection.

Open paper 12, copy and go to layer named 'small rectangle' which is actually the small circle and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper12 into selection.

Open paper 5, copy and go to the frame background layer and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper5 into selection.

Open paper 3, copy and go to the hearts layer and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper3 into selection.

Open paper 1, copy and go to the frame layer and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper1 into selection.

Open tubes of choice, copy and paste just above the hearts, resize to fit. Merge each tube layer down so that all three tubes are on one layer.
With your selection tool, click in the middle of each heart. Go to Selections-Invert. Go back to the tube layer and hit the delete key on the keyboard.

Go to Effects-PhotoEffects-Black and White Film with the filter color set to none.Go to Effects-Plugins-Xero-Porcelian using these settings: 50-128-128-0-0-255.
Duplicate layer, go to original layer, Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur set to 3.00, Set layer properties to Luminance (Legacy) and visiablity to 70.

Open either coffe sign, resize and arrange so it's hanging from the bottom of the frames.

Open Journalling1, resize and arrange to the right of the sign, add any wording of choice.

Add any other elements of choice.

Add main tube so it's sitting on top of the frame.

Open flowers 2&3, resize one smaller than the other, and arrange under the large circle. Duplicate each one and arrange so they form a circle under the large circle. (sorry I'm not that good with MuRa's Filter Meister - Copies, if you are you may use that plug-in instead of this long dragged out step..lol!)

Open paper 12, copy and go to background layer and Select-All-Float-Defloat and paste paper12 into selection. Go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur set to 20.00.

Crop and resize as needed.
Add name Gradient Glow of choice, Copyright info, license and save!
Thanks for Rocking Out my tutorial, I hope you enjoyed! ~Lori
