Remember, Dream, Live



This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on Jan 6, 2010.
And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI

Supplies needed
Tube(s) of choice, I used the Artwork of Myka Jelina, you must purchase a license found here.
PTU now FTU Scrapkit by Shani of "Wicked Princess Scraps" called "Sweet Serenity" and can be found here.
Font of choice (I used NotorvalHmkBold)
Plugins: Xero; Eye Candy 4000(opitional)

Please remember to stop and save often.Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed, merge layers down as needed to make things a little eaiser.

Let's Rock this Tutorial!!

Open new image 800x800, transparent background, you may crop and resize later.

Open Doodle from kit, copy and paste as new layer, arrange to the top right corner, Duplicate layer, go to Image-Mirror, go back to Image-Flip.

Open Butterfly wire, copy and paste as new layer, resize just a little smaller and arrange to the bottom right.

Open Bracket frame, copy and paste as new layer, resize just a little smaller and arrange to the top left.

Open paper 8, copy and go to Butterfly wire and with your magic wand click in middle of the wire, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by2. Add new raster layer, paste paper8 into Selection arrange this layer below the Butterfly wire layer.

Open paper 10, copy and go to Bracket frame and with your magic wand click in middle of the wire, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by2. Add new raster layer, paste paper10 into Selection arrange this layer below the Bracket frame layer.

Open tube of choice, paste as new layer, arrange below the butterfly wire, go to the background layer Selections-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go to the tube layer and hit the delete key on the keyboard.

Open MoonStar Dangle, resize and arrange below below ButterflyWire.

Go to Effects-Xero-Porcelian, using these settings: 50-128-128-0-0-255. Go to your layer poroperties and set as overlay.

Open another tube of choice by the same artist, paste as new layer, arrange below the Bracket frame, go to the background layer Selections-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go to the tube layer and hit the delete key on the keyboard.

Go to Effects-Xero-Porcelian, using these settings: 50-128-128-0-0-255. Go to your layer poroperties and set as Luminance (Legacy) Set visiablity to around 85.

Open Film strip frame, paste as new layer resize and arrange towards the bottom. With your magic wand set to Mode: Add(shift) Mode Match: None, click in middle of each blank square of the filmstrip, go to Selections-Modify-Expand by2. Add new raster layer, paste paper8 into Selection arrange this layer below the Filmstrip frame layer.

Open 3 different tubes of choice, paste as new layers, arrange each one to fit inside the Filmstrip frame. Go to your first tube and merge each tube layer down so that they are on one layer. Go back to the film strip background, Select-All-Float-Defloat-Invert, go to the tubes and hit delete key on keyboard.

Duplicate this layer, on the original layer, go to Adjust-Blur-Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur set to 2.00. Go to Effects-Photo Effects-Black and White film with the filter color set to none. On the copied layer, go to Effects-Xero-Porcelian, using these settings: 50-128-128-0-0-255, set layer visibality to around 60.

Add any other elements of choice.

Add main tube so it's sitting on top of the frame.

Crop and resize as needed.

Add wording of choice and Gradient Glow of choice.
Add name Gradient Glow of choice, Copyright info, license and save!
