Let's Get Rocked!

This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on August 20, 2009.And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI

Supplies needed:

Tube(s) of choice, I used Lix, you must purchase a license found here.
FTU Scrapkit by Bel Vidotti called "Rock 'n Roll" No longer available.
Old template #2 from Pooker's Creations which can be found here. On the right is links to her old templates, it's the ones 1-20.
Mask of choice
Font of choice (I used Ziggy Zoe, Pyrite, and Satisfaction)
Plugins: Eye Candy 4000 Impact, Xero
Please remember to stop and save often.
Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed
Let's Rock this Tutorial!!
Open Template, delete both circle layers.
Open rocke 61 from scrap kit move to top right corner and resize, see my tag for example. Duplicate layer, got to Image~~>Mirror. Go to Image~~>Flip.
Go to Square 1, paste tube of choice, arrange to liking so it's inside the frame. Go back to Square 1, go to Selections~~>Select All~~>Float~~>Invert, go back to tube layer and hit Delete Key.
Go to Effects~~>Plug Ins~~>Xero~~>Porcelain using these Settings:
Softness: 50
Strength: 128
Brightness: 128
Red Channel: 0
Green Channel: 0
Blue Channel: 255
Go to Effects~~>Photo Effects~~>Black and White Film with filter color set to None
Do same steps w/Square 2, 4 & 5, using either same tube or different tubes by same artist.
Open rockp 10 and copy. Go back to Square 1, go to Selections~~>Select All~~>Float. Go to Edit~~>Paste into selections.
Do same steps w/Squares 2 (using rockp16), Square 3 (using rockp21), Square 4 (using rockp07) & Square 5 (using rockp12).
Open rockp 19 and copy. Go to frame 1, go to Selections~~>Select All~~>Float~~>Defloat. Go to Edit~~>Paste into selections.
Do same steps w/frames 2, 3 ,4 & 5.
Add your tube of choice position in middle of tag.
Open rocke 64, copy and paste, resize and arrange on bottom right to liking go to Adjust~~>Sharpness~~>Sharpen. Duplicate and arrange on top left side of tag to liking.
Open rocke 11, copy and paste, above the frame layers. resize and arrange on the bottom of frame 1, go to Adjust~~>Sharpness~~>Sharpen. Duplicate layer go to Image~~>Mirror and arrange on the bottom of frame 5.
You can either use the wordart supplied in the kit or make you own like I did.
For the words 'ya wanna get rocked?' and 'Let's get' I used Ziggy Zoe' in white, using Gradient Glow 4000, with these settings in the basic tab:
Glow width: 3.0
Soft Corners: 25
Opacity: 100
making sure "draw only outside selection' is checked.
In the color tab: medium and picking a color in the tag.
For the word 'ROCKED' I used Pryite in a Red from the tag, using Gradient Glow 4000, with these settings in the basic tab:
Glow width: 5.0
Soft Corners: 25
Opacity: 100
making sure "draw only outside selection' is checked.
In the color tab: medium, Black.
For the name I used Satisfaction in White, using Gradient Glow 4000 with these settings in the basic tab:
Glow width: 3.0
Soft Corners: 25
Opacity: 100
making sure "draw only outside selection' is checked.
In the color tab: medium, Black.
Then adding a drop shadow with these settings:
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 10.0
Add new raster layer, send to bottom. Flood fill Black or color of choice. Add mask of choice.
Add, Copyright info ~ license and save!
