This tutorial was written by me, Lori, on Dec. 5, 2009.

And it was written for those who should already have a basic knowledge of working with PSP. I used Paint Shop Pro XI. Do not copy this tutorial and post it through any group or claim it as your own. Please share a text link only. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental.

Supplies needed

Tube(s) of choice, I used Jose Cano, you must purchase a license found here.

PTU Scrapkit by Crazed's Creations called "Christmas Magic" and can be found here.

Template #129 from Beth and can be found at here.

Font of choice (I used Santa's Sleigh)

Plugins: Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact, Xero

Pease remember to stop and save often.

Add drop shadow of choice as you go. Refer to my example as needed

Let's Rock this Tutorial!!

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original. Resize to 800x800 pixels, you may resize and/or crop later.

Go to raster1, change color to red from the kit.

Go to grey frame 1, Selections-All-Float-Defloat-Modify-Expand by2. Copy and paste a plain green paper. Do this to the grey frame 2 also.

Go to white frame 1, Selections-All-Float-Defloat-Modify-Expand by2. Copy and paste a plain red paper. Do this to the white frame 2 also.

Go to both word layers 'Naughty or Nice', color change to black.

Add tube of choice and arrange to liking.

Go to word layer 'can we talk?' color change to red. arrange a little to the left add a small white gradient glow.

Go to word layer 'About the Naught list?' color change to green add a small white gradient glow.

Copy and paste red and green candy canes, resize and arrange to the right, delete original candy canes.

Copy presents of choice, resize and arrange to liking in the middle of the tag, arrange below the 'can we talk?' layer.

Copy and paste wreath, resize and arrange to the left, paste tube of choice and resize and arrange below wreath. With the wreath layer active, click in the middle of the wreath with your magic wand. Go to Selections-Modify-Expand by1 Invert, Go to tube layer and hit delete key on keyboard. Duplicate layer. Go to Xero plugin~~>Porcelain~using these settings: 50-128-128-0-0-255.

. On original tube layer, go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur set to 5.00. Set as Overlay. Go to top tube layer, Effects-Time Machine- set to 1839. Set visiablity to 70.

Make raster 1 active, (the red one you colored) and with your Selection tool set to rounded rectangle, draw out a rectagle around entire tag. Selections-Float-Defloat- Invert, and hit delete key on keyboard. Resize/Crop more if needed.

Add Name, Copyright info and license and save!
